I have been programming since 1985, when IBM PCs had very little RAM. My first computer was a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A, and as PC-compatible computers became more common I moved to the PC platform.

Over the years I have worked with many languages while trying to keep up with new technologies, including Assembly, GW-BASIC, Pascal, RPG, Fortran, COBOL, Modula-1, C, C++, Visual Basic, Python, Java, C#, JavaScript and PHP.

I started programming PCs under MS-DOS. Then came Windows, and with the arrival of the Internet I also moved into web development. I have used every generation of Visual Studio since Microsoft introduced it.

Today I mainly develop in C#, using MVC, Blazor (WebAssembly and/or Server) or Razor Pages depending on the application.

I also spend time on other hobbies: Arduino and robotics programming, wooden ship modelling, and collecting bottle caps, Pokémon items and other PVC figures, with or without cards.
